‘Spooked Ireland’ Unveils Cast & Premiere Date

Discovery+ has announced the latest addition to its paranormal lineup, ‘Spooked Ireland’. Following the success of ‘Spooked Scotland’, which aired in 2022, the new series is set to premiere in September 2023.

‘Spooked Ireland’ will air on the Really channel, as well as stream on Discovery+. The 10 new episodes feature Chris Fleming, a renowned US medium, who returns to investigate supernatural sightings, and terrifying hauntings – this time in Ireland.

Chris will be joined by Vogue Williams, an Irish television presenter and host of the ‘My Therapist Ghosted Me’ podcast with comedian Joanne McNally. Vogue gained public attention after participating in the 2010 Irish reality TV show ‘Fade Street’, which followed the personal lives of a group of Dubliners.

In 2012, Vogue appeared in the twelfth series of the Australian reality show ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Her television career continued to flourish as she participated in various reality shows such as ‘Bear Grylls: Mission Survive’ and her own four-part series called ‘Vogue Williams – On The Edge’.

Chris and Vogue will be joined by returning paranormal researchers Ryan O’Neill, a technical expert, and Evelyn Hollow, a parapsychologist. The team will explore Ireland’s spookiest locations, many of which have never been featured on television before.

“Spooked Scotland” saw Fleming and Gail Porter lead a series of paranormal investigations at haunted Scottish hotspots, including Brodick Castle on the Isle of Arran, Bannockburn House, Stirling’s Old Jail, Tron Theatre, Culross, Glencoe Massacre site, Castle Menzies, Edinburgh Vaults, and the Banshee Labyrinth.

As ‘Spooked Scotland’ came to an end, Porter announced on Twitter that she would not be returning for a second series. She revealed that the show would be set in Ireland and feature a different host. Fans expressed their disappointment, but excitement is building for the new series with its fresh setting and intriguing cast.

In addition to ‘Spooked Ireland’, the broadcaster also announced the return of ‘Help! My House Is Haunted’ with 14 new episodes in August as part of its fifth series. A brand-new one-hour special, ‘The Yorkshire Exorcist’, starring ‘Help!’ medium Ian Lawman, is set to premiere on Really in October.

With its impressive lineup of spine-tingling shows, Warner Bros. Discovery’s Really channel promises to keep paranormal enthusiasts on the edge of their seats. Follow @higgypop on Twitter for further updates on ‘Spooked Ireland’ and other upcoming paranormal entertainment.
