Mysterious Pyramids Above Kremlin and Pentagon: What’s Been Forgotten?

Picture this: a colossal pyramid-shaped object, perhaps a mile wide, hovering silently above the Kremlin in Moscow. You’d be forgiven for thinking it’s another wild hoax—but hold that thought. Sixteen years ago, Russia’s biggest media outlets reported on it. Videos, photos, and countless witnesses back it up, yet this event has faded from collective memory. How does something so extraordinary just vanish from our minds?
What if I told you it wasn’t an isolated case? Here in the U.S., we’ve had our own uninvited guests. Fast forward nine years to December 19, 2018, and a similar huge craft allegedly appeared above the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Does that ring a bell? Probably not—and that’s hardly surprising. For reasons that defy explanation, these incidents barely make a ripple in the news.
These incidents, captured on video and corroborated by eyewitnesses, suggest something extraordinary. Yet, the official silence is deafening. Why is there so little information about these events?
The Kremlin Sighting
On that chilly December night in 2009, Moscow residents looked up to see an enormous, dark pyramid floating above the Kremlin. Videos, widely available on platforms like YouTube, show a quadrangular structure.
That same morning, a luminous spiral illuminated the sky over Norway, which Russian authorities dismissed as a failed missile test. Reports from The Telegraph and NBC News covered the pyramid, yet the story faded quickly.
Eyewitness Dimitri Kazantsev described it as “unlike anything I’ve ever seen”.
“The object has been compared to an Imperial Cruiser in the Star Wars films and witnesses estimated it could be up to a mile wide. Two film clips exist which appear to show the same object and footage has been repeatedly playing on Russian television news channels,” The Telegraph wrote about this back in 2009.
The identity of the shape has not been confirmed. Russian reports ruled out a UFO but police refused to comment. Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence UFO analyst, said it was “one of the most extraordinary UFO clips I’ve ever seen”.
A spokesman for aerospace journal Jane’s News said: “We have no idea what it is.”
And that’s it. Yes, as if it were just a daily routine.
The Pentagon Encounter
Nine years later, the scene shifted to the Pentagon. On December 19, 2018, three separate videos captured a pyramid-shaped craft hovering over the U.S. Department of Defense headquarters.
Witnesses Alex (Video), Richard Wilson and Nick, and Farou filmed from different angles, with a brighter version later emerging.
Their testimonies, featured in a Gaia documentary, paint a vivid picture of a silent, physics-defying object. Curiously, that same day, Vice President Mike Pence was briefed on the Space Force proposal. Was this timing coincidental, or did the craft’s presence influence discussions about militarizing space?
The Pentagon offered no comment. How could an unidentified object infiltrate the world’s most secure airspace without a public response?
A bizarre twist emerged in 2019 when Adyor Vanderlei claimed he faked the Pentagon video using CGI, only to retract his story under scrutiny from Lead Stories. “I DID NOT make this on CGI… I have nothing to do with this,” he confessed. Why would someone lie about such a hoax? Was he coerced to discredit the evidence?
Multiple perspectives and witness accounts make a single faker implausible, yet some still label the case “debunked.”
A Global Phenomenon
These incidents are not isolated. In July 2010, a giant pyramid appeared during a Taiwanese TV broadcast in Kaohsiung, unnoticed by anchors fixated on Typhoon Conson.
In June 2021, another pyramid hovered over Shanghai, China, with investigator Burbex finding no mundane explanation.
That same month, a UFO appeared in Hanoi, Vietnam, on surveillance footage. Earlier, on April 20, 2021, military personnel at Twentynine Palms Base in California reported a black, triangular UFO, half a football field in size. Jeremy Corbell’s interviews with three service members debunked flare theories. Why do these pyramid-shaped objects appear globally, often near military or political hubs?
The 1990 Calvine Photograph from Scotland adds historical depth. Two chefs captured a diamond-shaped craft—eerily similar to the pyramid UFOs—only to vanish after a visit from mysterious “men in black.” A colleague, interviewed in James Fox’s The Program, confirmed the encounter. What prompted such intimidation if the photo was insignificant?
Then there’s the 1977 Southern Television broadcast interruption, where a voice claiming to be from the “Ashtar Galactic Command” hijacked a UK station for six minutes. Experts noted the technical sophistication required, and the mention of “Aquarius”—later tied to an NSA project—raises eyebrows.
Was this a hoax, or an early extraterrestrial message?
Hints from the Top: Galactic Federation or Government Secrets?
Haim Eshed, former Israeli space chief, claimed a “Galactic Federation” exists, with Earth governments in treaty with it. Speaking in an interview to Yediot Aharonot, Eshed – who served as the head of Israel’s space program for nearly 30 years and is a three-time recipient of the Israel Security Award – explained that Israel and the US have both been dealing with aliens for years.
And this by no means refers to immigrants, with Eshed clarifying the existence of a “Galactic Federation.”
Obama jokingly hinted at alien oversight in 2016, while Dmitry Medvedev, in 2012, said Russia tracks aliens but keeps it quiet to avoid panic. Are these offhand remarks, or do they betray a deeper truth?
A theory emerges: Earth may be under a Galactic Federation’s protection, enforcing a no-nukes-in-space rule while awaiting humanity’s maturity. Rogue intruders, outside this federation, occasionally breach our skies, prompting military action—like the 2020 Magé, Brazil incident, where Brazilian and U.S. forces allegedly attacked a UFO (Video). If governments feel shielded by this federation, why not disclose it? Or do they fear losing control over the narrative?
The Silence Speaks Volumes
Why is there so little official data on these pyramid UFOs? The Pentagon’s 2021 acknowledgment of leaked UFO videos proves they’re aware of the phenomenon, yet specifics like the 2018 sighting remain unaddressed. As for Russia’s silence, that’s understandable. They even kept quiet about the Chernobyl disaster until the very end.
The lack of media follow-up is equally puzzling. If mile-wide objects can hover over world capitals, why isn’t this front-page news? Is there a concerted effort to suppress these stories, or just apathy?
The locations—Kremlin, Pentagon—suggest intent. Are these displays of power, showing no government is untouchable? Or warnings against militarizing space, as the Space Force timing implies? The eyewitnesses, from civilians to trained military observers, have no apparent motive to lie.
Why do their accounts align across continents and decades? Could every sighting be a hoax, or is something more at play?
