Mysterious Creature Caught on Camera in Rural Texas
A strange creature, resembling the legendary Chupacabra, was recently captured on a surveillance camera in rural Dubina, Fayette County, Texas.
Michael ‘Dumas’ Demel, the camera owner, explained that he uses three hunting cameras on his property to track local wildlife, such as coyotes, bobcats, foxes, and raccoons.
These motion-activated cameras take around 100 pictures daily, which Michael meticulously reviews. Recently, one image left him baffled when he spotted a bizarre creature.
“At first, I thought it was a monkey,” he said. However, monkeys in Texas are only found in zoos, and there have been no reports of a missing monkey in the area. In his search for answers, Michael shared the photo with friends and acquaintances, eventually catching the attention of the local press.
While many believe it to be a Chupacabra, others speculate it could be an alien or even a skinwalker, a shapeshifter from Native American mythology.
The creature is roughly the size of a medium dog, and according to Michael, in the 10 years he has been reviewing his cameras, he has never encountered anything like it.
A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department spokesperson reviewed the photo but said it did not resemble a baby deer, adding that the poor quality of the image made identification challenging.
