Black UFO ball was filmed near a military airfield in California

This video appeared online a few days ago but was filmed back in August 2020. 52-year-old military contractor Andy Segobia was driving to work at El Mirage Airfield, California, when he suddenly saw a dark ball floating in the sky, reports dailymail.co.uk.

El Mirage airfield is used by the military company General Atomics Aeronautical Systems – manufacturers of the MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance and strike drones.

The size of the UFO was about 1.5-2 meters in diameter and it hovered quite low above the ground, approximately at an altitude of 20 meters. Andy quickly took out his smartphone and began filming the UFO. The video turned out surprisingly clear for a typical UFO video.

“I thought it was a balloon at first. As I got closer, I could see it wasn’t tethered to anything. There was no sign of propulsion, there was no noise, it was just sitting there,” he said.

After Andy captured the object on video, he drove to the building he needed to take measurements there. This building was located very close to the place where the UFO ball hovered, and Andy was inside for less than a minute. But when he went outside, the UFO had already disappeared.

“We (Andy and his foreman) went into this building, which was only 15 feet away, and took one measurement, walked back out the door, and the UFO disappeared. Maybe only 30 seconds passed. I looked everywhere, it was a clear day.

“I would have seen it floating away somewhere. UFO either dissolved or just suddenly “shot out” from there. I was upset that I didn’t record this moment.”

Andy says he regularly sees airplane-shaped drones take off and land at the El Mirage runway, and that General Atomics is working there to build and repair drones. But he said the sphere was unlike anything he had ever seen there.

“It came out silver when I shot the video. But it was a black tinted ball. It was giving off some kind of heat or something, some kind of wave where I couldn’t see inside the ball.

“When you’re driving to Vegas and it looks like there’s water in the street, it was kind of like that. It was giving off some kind of wave, I’m assuming it was a heat of some type.”

The object photographed by Andy Segobia is very similar to the ball that was filmed in Iraq several years ago. And, by the way, it was filmed by the same MQ-9 Reaper drone.

The US Pentagon has released video of an orb-shaped UFO flying over Iraq.
