Watch The Trailer For Sian Eleri’s ‘Paranormal’ As BBC Series Returns

The BBC has released the trailer for the highly anticipated series ‘Paranormal: The Village That Saw Aliens’, set to return to BBC Three and BBC Wales. This new instalment follows the success of ‘Paranormal: The Girl, The Ghost & The Gravestone’, which aired last year.
The series, hosted by BBC Radio 1 presenter Sian, dives into a mysterious wave of UFO sightings and close encounters in a Welsh village. The intriguing events started with a sighting by 14 schoolboys and escalated into what is claimed to be the largest mass sighting in British history.
The story, which garnered global attention, spans from the 1970s to the 1980s, is the perfect case for the Welsh presenter. It involving numerous unexplained and terrifying sightings along the south and west coast of Wales. These reports ranged from the initial UFO sighting by the schoolboys to a hotelier claiming to have seen a spaceship. The wave of sightings led to widespread claims of the UK’s biggest mass encounter with UFOs.
In the series, Sian begins her investigation by seeking out the now-grown schoolboys from Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire, whose encounter triggered the entire phenomenon. With access to original case archives and interviews with key figures involved, Sian’s journey starts as one of scepticism but quickly evolves as she encounters chilling twists that challenge her understanding of reality.
Produced by Twenty Twenty Productions Ltd for the BBC, the series boasts a strong production team with Ruth Kelly as Director of Programmes, Jo Hughes as Executive Producer, Rory Jackson as Series Director, and Hannah Horan as Series Producer.
‘Paranormal: The Village That Saw Aliens’ premieres on June 14 with a double bill on BBC Three at 9pm and 9:30pm. It will also air on BBC One Wales at 10:40pm and 11:10pm. All episodes will be available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.
