US Navy films a UFO splashing down into the ocean
US NAVY personnel have shared another UFO sighting, ahead of next months report from the Pentagon into “unidentified aerial phenomena”.
Crew from the USS Omaha captured footage of a “spherical” object dropping into the ocean while deployed off the coast of San Diego. The video, taken on July 15, 2019, was leaked to investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, who has shared previous Navy encounters.
The UFO was filmed by a camera aboard the USS Omaha.
Two crew members also spotted the object filmed making a controlled descent into the ocean.
One of the pair exclaimed “wow, it splashed” after it disappeared into waters off San Diego.
The UFO hovered above for an extended period, as revealed by the clip.
Mr Corbell previously leaked footage of three pyramid-shaped UFOs flying off the coast of California.
He described the footage as the best he had “ever seen”.
The video, which is now public, was reportedly gathered by the Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) and leaked to the filmmaker.
In the short clip, recorded by personnel aboard the USS Russell, three faint orbs are seen hovering above the warship.
Pentagon spokeswoman Susan Gough confirmed to The Sun “the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel” but did not comment on what the footage showed
It comes as former Navy Lieutenant Ryan Graves called UFOs and “unidentified aerial phenomena” a threat to US national security.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, airing today, the former officials said he and his colleagues spotted the objects hundreds of times in protected air space between 2015 and 2017.
It also comes ahead of the release of the Pentagon’s report into UFOs, which will be made public in June.
Former President Donald Trump included in his last coronavirus relief bill an order for the Department of Defence to publish all footage of “unidentified aerial phenomena”.
