Paranormal Investigator Warns To NEVER Leave Spirit Box Running Unattended
Since I started researching Ghost Box communication I have repeatedly heard other investigators say that they “left their Ghost Box running,” or “let the box run and just let it record.” In my opinion and from my experience and messages I have received in sessions this is a very big no no!
A Ghost Box is a device that enables the reception of radio signals and dices them up into small bits and pieces or fragments of sound by sweeping the chosen band at a fast enough rate so that the dial does not stop on any one station. The theory is that an entity will use whatever bits of radio fragments it needs to form words and sentences to facilitate realtime, live spirit communication between the researcher and a non-physical entity, presumably the spirits of disembodied human beings.
First let’s address the issue of common courtesy and disrespect. Because we use a technical device to receive the communication and to make the connection with entities that are not tangible to us, can not be seen, touched or smelled we tend to associate the communication we are receiving with the inanimate object we are using to facilitate the communication, the Ghost Box itself.
This happens when we start to gain some time and experience in doing Ghost Box communication, we start to lose sight of the fact that the phenomenon we are experiencing is a very special gift to be treated with awe and reverence and not to be taken lightly.
When we lose this awareness and become complacent in our practicing of Ghost Box communication we forget that who we are communicating with is supposedly the disembodied spirits of once living human beings. When we lose sight of this we start to lose respect and common courtesy for the human being we are communicating with, this stems again from the unconscious notion that we are communicating with the Ghost Box itself, an inanimate object as apposed to the spirits of human being. The electronic device essentially dehumanises the conversation.
We must never lose sight of the fact that spirits were and still are human beings and deserve the same respect and courtesy that would be afforded any physical being. Look at it this way, if you were to telephone a friend you would not call their phone and when they answered just set the phone down and go about some other business leaving your friend and the telephone connection unattended, this would be an unthinkable act of disrespect and complete and utter disregard for your friend or their feelings.
The only difference in the two situations is that after a while your friend could hang up the phone and sever the connection, this cannot be done with a Ghost Box session and I will explain why.
When you turn on a Ghost Box there is not only the entities that are attempting communication but also a “technician” that must oversee the session. When a Ghost Box is turned on and contact is made with the other side I have come through experience to theorize that the open connection creates a doorway or portal between our two worlds that is needed to facilitate the flow of energy needed to carry and form the communication being sent between planes.
This open doorway is subject to infiltration by entities that may wish to pass to our physical world. I have had personal experience with this occurrence that helped lead to the awareness of this doorway. The portal can be used by benign spirits as well as negative ones. This being the case the doorway needs to be guarded which falls under the responsibility of the technician along with the responsibility of guarding the open portal the tech must also help other spirits to send and receive communication and also relay communication if the communicating entity is an earthbound spirit in a distant location.
This responsibility of the technician makes it necessary for him or her to stay in attendance of an open box session no matter how long the session stays in progress, if you keep this fact in mind when you turn on a Ghost Box you will surely give the session your undivided attention and not leave an individual whose sole purpose is to help you in any and all ways “holding the box” as it were.
To sum it all up, the communicator doing the box session should always be diligent and attentive to the session making sure that there is continuous interaction between the communicator and the entities that he or she is communicating with. There is no reason why a communicator can not devote the utmost attention during the short time it takes to do a session.
Remember we are communicating with people who deserve our respect and attention, so do not leave a Ghost Box running and unattended.
