Parapsychology isn’t that far removed from traditional psychology. In fact, a lot of the areas of parapsychology research find their roots in more conventional psychological.
The Koestler Parapsychology Unit at Edinburgh University’s psychology department offer PhDs in psychology specialising in parapsychology, the course includes a final year dissertations in the field of parapsychological.
There are two options if you want to study parapsychology in London, both offer the option to specialise in paranormal during the final year of their BSc in psychology. The University of Greenwich offer Parapsychology, Transpersonal Psychology and Anomalistic Psychology, while at London’s Goldsmith you can study Anomalistic Psychology.
The University of the West of England in Bristol, the University of Derby, the School of Health and Medicine at Lancaster University, the Manchester Metropolitan University, the University of Northampton, and the University of York also all offer the opportunity to study anomalous experiences and parapsychology as part of their BSc psychology course.
